Aston GT4 Action from Snetterton.

29th September 2012

After qualifying a respectable 9th the N24 Aston of Adrian Johnson Racing started well in the owners hands. Both husband Adrian and wife Claire were both suffering from flu so it was decided they would share the couple of stints utilising Peter to finish the race.

Despite clearly being under the weather both Adrian and Claire had strong runs in the car with Claire, new to racing contemporary cars, putting in a fine performance running as high as 5th overall.

Always at an disadvantage being an early specification car still running in 4.3litre engine guise as opposed to the later 4.7litre specification the AJR car was nevertheless having a strong showing.

With Peter readied in the pit lane Adrian was on his in lap when the simplest of misunderstandings caused the AJR car and Vantage Racing cars to collide. Neither were able to continue.

The final round of the 2012 Challenge takes place at Zandvoort in Holland next weekend. finishing the season
